Hey HEAT Nation! I'm currently a 4th year student at Florida International University in the school of Journalism and Communications. I’m a broadcast media major aspiring to become a sports reporter and radio host. Before selecting broadcast media I had a variety of other choices in mind, but once I became a HEAT Dancer I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in journalism and stuck with it.
Being a Miami HEAT Dancer for the past three years has really influenced my personal growth. I won’t lie - when I first started I was very shy and quiet but as the years have gone by the Miami HEAT has really brought out the best in me. I am now more outspoken and have established confidence in myself as a woman. We learn so much from our teammates and others surrounded by us every time we walk into AmericanAirlines Arena, whether it’s for a game, appearance or rehearsal. As a Miami HEAT Dancer I’ve not only been provided with so many amazing lifetime memories, I’ve also been given lifelong lessons that I will carry on with me forever. I'm so grateful to be a part of such a family oriented organization and I love every moment I spend with HEAT Nation!
